Hello I’m Amy,  Owner and Stylist at Cerise Salon.

 

I have been serving in the Sacramento Arden Arcade and Downtown Areas for over 20 years. In 1999 I started Beauty School and went on to assist under two amazing hair stylists. Through them I gained the opportunity to study at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco, LA, and London. During my assistant program I completed my certificate as an American Board of Certified Haircolorist (ABCH). Quickly afterwards I was chosen to be the in-salon assistant educator, this is where I truly found my passion! 

 

One of my specialties as a stylist is precision haircuts, using the Vidal Sassoon Method. My second specialty is hair color, from natural looking color to amazing vivids. I have been collecting certifications my entire career, including but not limited to; Alfaparf, Aveda, and Wella. I strongly value education, continuing to learn more about the art of hair. I am kind of a science nerd and love explaining the chemistry of your haircolor process. 

 

I was born and raised here in Sacramento and still live here raising my children. We are a military family, my husband is part of the medevac unit with the National Guard stationed out of Mather. We have two, not so small, kids- one girl and one boy. On the weekends we love spending time together in our backyard, swimming, hosting bbq’s or just watching movies.

 

When you sit in my chair you should expect that I will listen first, find out more about you, your lifestyle and (of course) your hair! You can rest assured that I have the skills and experience to know how to work with your hair, no matter what type of hair you have. With your ideas and my knowledge of hair I know we can work together to give you the hair you always wanted.
